Tickets on Sale for the ApplianceZone.com Dirt Track World Championship Presented By Lucas Oil Products
WAYCROSS, GA (June 14, 2011) - The 31st Annual ApplianceZone.com Dirt Track World Championship presented by Lucas Oil Products is set for October 13, 14 and 15. This year's event will take place at the K-C Raceway in Chillicothe, Ohio and will be the season finale for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, paying $50,000 to the winner. ApplianceZone.com-sponsored Earl Pearson, Jr. is the defending champion, winning last year's event at West Virginia Motor Speedway.
Carl Short has announced the ticket prices and schedule for this year's event. Fans can save money by ordering tickets in advance. This year's advance 3-day general admission ticket will be $40, or $45 for reserved grandstand seating, until October 1. After October 1 and on race day, a 3-day general admission ticket will be $50, with reserved seating priced at $55. Advance 3-day pit passes will be $50 until October 1, and $60 after October 1 and on race day. This year's schedule of events gets underway on Thursday, October 13 with modified qualifying, heat races and consolation races. Then on Friday, October 14, there will be late model qualifying, heat races and the modified feature event. On Saturday, October 15, there will be a special ApplianceZone.com driver autograph session followed by late model consolation races, the Jim Dunn non-qualifier race and the 100-lap Dirt Track World Championship. The 2011 DTWC will have a new title sponsor and a unique contest for race fans. ApplianceZone.com has come on board as the title sponsor of the DTWC presented by Lucas Oil Products for 2011. The winner of the contest will be announced on October 8 at the Dixie Shootout in Woodstock, Georgia.
